Bashkir state medical university was established in the year 1932. It is one of the top 10 medical universities in Russia. The medical university is situated in the city of UFA. Mode of teaching- English is the mode of teaching for foreign students including Indian students. However, some of the foreign students who prefer to study in the Russian language are also welcome. They study along with Russian students in the Russian language. The tuition fee for English medium students is slightly high than the Russian medium.
Duration of the study period – duration of study medicine of BSMU is of 6 years including hospital work called internship. For 1st 3 years, students are thought in the call room and all medical subtests are covered theoretically. From 4 years onwards they start hospital tanning where a part of theory practical is also given to students. The students are divided into groups and they start working under the supervision of senior doctors /proffers. Each year the course starts on 1st September. The total study periods are divided into 12 semesters including hospital and internship work.
Library – a most modern and big library is there in Bashkir state medical university which caters to the need of books is suet my library. For English medium students, all books are available which are thought in Indian medical colleges. The books are issued to the students on early bases so that they can study the course in their room also apart from call rooms. The students need not purchase any book from outside since all the books are available free of cost in the library. The ballroom in Bashkir state medical university is very small in a number of students. Only 10 to 12 students are thought in a classroom but all the professors’ one after the others.
Boarding and lounging facility –Bashkir state medical university has 5 hostels for foreign students. They are fully furnished and provided with basic amenities. These hostels can accurate nearly 2000 students. Bedsheets in the hostel are changed weekly. The hostel is in the form of flats having 2 bedrooms, toilet and kitchen facility. Like-minded students staying in the same room can cook their food themself of their choice. Big supermarket and provision stores are available nearby which helps the students to purchase the items of day to day needs. The room in the flats are considerably larger, each room in occupied by 2 or 3 students depending upon the six of room. Serpent mess and canteens are also provided where Indian student’s Indian students can get Indian food of their choice. Apart from this entertainment facility like television and the internet also there. The Indian students can choose and see the entertainment programs of their own language.
Safety and security -the students while studying in Bashkir state medical university find themself safe in the university hostel. CCTV surveillance is all ways there. Hostel warden takes enough care and ensures the safety and harmony among students. Students are forced to come back to the hostel during late evening hours before 10 pm. Outside in the city, the Russian police take enough care and ensure the safety of foreign nationals. All the students are provided with student cards issued by the university and duality science by the local police which helps in the identification of foreign students.

Total fees for 6 years Rs. 17,08,000 (approx.).1st-year fees include Tuition Fee, Hostel Fee, and Medical Insurance. Indian students admitted to the 1st course have to pay their full fees for the whole academic year. Starting from the 2nd-year student may pay their tuition fees for each semester.(1 USD = 70 Rupees).

List of the Documents Required For Enrolling in the University
After the evolution of the documents, the student will be notified about rejection and acceptance of the application. If a student’s application form is accepted then he/she will be notified after within 1-2 working days. Also, the student will be issued the admission confirmation within the same time period.
After receiving the confirmation letter, a student can pay the fees through net banking or other payment methods.
After receiving the invitation letter, student needs to apply for the Visa as soon as possible because the Visa process could take time.
The student has to pay fees for the first year before arriving at Russia. Also, a student is supposed to send us the flight details. So, that our executive can receive and guide a student after arrival. In case, a student doesn’t inform us about the arrival then he/she could be deported back to the home country by the authorities of Immigration.
It is mandatory for every student to bring a complete of original documents and payment receipts of first year. It is important for a student to register himself/herself at the college after 3 days of arriving in the country. After the completion of the registration process and admission process, a student will be allowed to attend the classes.
Make sure to apply to the University before the application deadline. Once you get admission to the University you will most likely depart from your home country in the 1st week of September itself.
