The Kyrgyz State Medical Academy was founded in 1939 as a medical institute. The Kyrgyz State Medical Academy had completed its 70 years and has it entered a new decade of activity. Kyrgyz state medical academy is leading medical institutions among all medical institutes in Kyrgyzstan for pursuing MBBS in Kyrgyzstan. It is WHO and MCI approved. The academy aims to apply most modern methods and advanced technology in teaching international students.
Besides, more than 12,000 students are studying at the institute. It includes 1,735 students from countries such as India, Iran, Israel, etc. The medium of teaching is in English and Russian for the students. Medical council of India screening test, also known as the foreign medical graduate examination (FMGE) is a permit test. To practice medicine in India, the Indian citizens having MBBS degree from abroad have to qualify this test. The Kyrgyz state medical academy conducts separate coaching classes for students with their degree to prepare them for this exam.
The Kyrgyz State Medical Academy has its hostels for accommodation of international students parted throughout the city. The university offers separate hostels for boys and girls. Besides its location in the capital Bishkek, the university provides the students with 24 hours warm and cold water. Furthermore, the hostels are very safe for the students.
